Hi all,
In order to import from MS WORD into a rich text field in notes, i had tried 2 different approaches which i obtained from this forum - notesuidocument.import and the other one is to copy and paste. But then both gave me a weird problem.
notesuidocument.import → the table in some of the pages are gone while some are still intact. Personally i prefer this method as it kept most of the text alignment just that i am quite irritated by the missing tables.
Copy and paste → the tables in ALL pages are exactly duplicated to the notes but the alignment are extremely off.
Besides, while importing over, i notice that the pages are not synchronized. Meaning to say, after i import to the rich text field and intend to print the document, the pages are entirely different from the MS WORD.
For example:
MS WORD - page 1
Notes - page 1
MS WORD - page 2
Notes - page 2 and some of page 3
So is it the problem with my MS WORD document or should i adjust anything in NOTES? i tried all ways by using placing the field into a table of 1 row by 1 column or by changing the font for the field to size 8 but all return me the same result.
I hope it is not a silly question to ask. But seriously, i had been stuck at this problem for about 2 days and hope someone can give a gd suggestion.
