Notes NDS error and figuring it out!

I’m getting a Notes NDS error when opening an email from one particular email address? I’ve deleted the cache file in Notes, but same thing on this email. Email opens okay when forwarding it from problem computer and from other computers when just clicking to open it. I have the log file, but can’t figure it out as I’m not a Lotus expert!

Please let me know what I should do next?

Thanks,

Rick

Is this an HTML based message? If so try deleting the perweb.nsf file, restarting the client and opening the message again.

I usually just search for FATAL and check the calls and files being referenced in that section.

No, it’s a log file that it generates. As soon as you get the NDS error and click okay in Notes it closes notes!

Is the original e-mail HTML based? If so the perweb.nsf file is accessed on the local client, and if that file is corrupt it may be causing the client crashes. This would also explain why you can open the e-mail on other computers.

I see Nathan. The original email has a lot of different colors, text options, etc. It looks like a Christmas tree there are so many colors. Maybe that’s why it happend? What should I do about the perweb.nsf file?
