I notice that when I run Notes Minder on a client machine with XP , the icon disappears from the task bar without trace.

Does anybody knows how i can fix this problem ??

works fine for me on XP. sounds like a local, not product, issue. Can’t imagine why.

XP has auto-hide of inactive icons set by default, so XP may be hiding it.

Right click over the taskbar at the bottom and select propertites. Check to see “hide inactive icons” is on

i’ve checked the option “hide inactive icons” , but that won’t fix the problem.

When i start taskmanager, and after that clicking start > programs >notes minder, nminder.exe appears for max. 2 seconds on the processes tab, and after 2 seconds it’s gone

Who knows the answer ?

I have noticed this issue with Notes Minder on Windows 2000 when you install from the Notes client CD (not the administrator CD) and select the mutli-user installation. To workaround this issue, you just need to delete the shortcut the installation creates and replace it with a shortcut you create to nminder.exe. With single user installation, you will not encounter this issue.
