Hello,
I am a user of Lotus Notes only since April this year because it is used in the company I work for since then.
Amongst many problems obne strikes me in particular: it happens very often that I selected an e-mail in Lotus Notes, its preview is shown, and then when I focus another window/application, Lotus Notes simply jumps to another e-mail and shows the preview of that e-mail. This is very awkward when I am trying to read information from the formerly selected e-mail in order to work something in the other application I just focused.
It also happens that when I have an e-mail in a subfolder selected, that Lotus Notes jumps out of the subfolder to the inbox and selects some e-mail there. So in order to get back to the e-mail I was working with I do not only have to scroll in the list view to find my e-mail again and select it, I also have to go back to the folder I was in, which is alltogether slowing down the working process immensely.
In additions, this becomes an even more severe problem when Lotus Notes jumps to an unread message and marks it as read, so that I sometimes don’t recognize that I received a new message.
Is there any work around for this?
By the way: The about dialog shows the following information:
Release 8.5.3
Revision 20110916.0921 (Release 8.5.3)
I am not sure why I only could select 8.0, 8.0.1 or 8.0.2 in this form.
