I know for a fact I am not the only one annoyed by this behavior. I do NOT want to open symphony documents in a tab in notes, EVER. I’ve installed the stand alone Symphony to work with all Symphony documents outside of notes to maximize my viewing space and easily switch between apps.
The problem is, notes always resets the setting to open Symphony documents within notes. If I install an update, they open in notes. If I open an Symphony document attachment that I didn’t specify to open outside of notes, ALL symphony documents would be opened inside of notes from then on.
The latest, I accidentally clicked on an Open Symphony document link in the Open List (which by the way I can’t find a way to customize to hide the Symphony icons to avoid this again) and to my surprise opened the new document outside of notes, however, any attachment I open after that opens it inside of notes.
So please, please, please don’t reset my preferences on how I want Symphony documents opened!
