Notes.ini not accepting EXTMGR_ADDINS line

Gurus -

I keep trying to add a certain line to my server’s notes.ini without any luck. Everytime I add the specific line and save it, as soon as the server restarts, the change is gone. I have had no problems adding a comment line.

I’ve already tried the following:

  1. Making change while server is down, then restarting - NO GOOD.

  2. Making change while server is up, then restarting - NO GOOD.

  3. Adding a comments line to check writablility - WORKS JUST FINE.

Subject: notes.ini not accepting EXTMGR_ADDINS line

Check your server configuration document on the NOTES.INI tab. There may be a setting there that the server is enforcing.
