Notes.ini getting corrupt after configure/install

I’ve got a problem.I try to install 6.5.3 and use R5 notes.ini, bookmark.nsf, desktop5.dsk, names.nsf and ID file.

Everything works fine until after entering password. Then the notes.ini becomes small. Just a few lines left.

I’m using a mst file in addition to the msi.

I think the obvious answer is: don’t do that.

What you need to do is install R5 properly, and then upgrade to 6.53.
