Notes in bizarre state re arrow keys

I have no idea how I got into this state, but it’s making me crazy. When I am editing an email (or any document, I assume) the arrow keys no longer move through the text. Instead, they scroll the editing window in the direction of the arrow I’ve pressed. I’ve tried restarting Notes, on the assumption that it just got into a funky state internally, but the problem continues.

Never mind. A colleague let me know that it was Notes’ non-standard application of the scroll lock key. It’s better now.
