Notes FX is not working for me with Domino 7.0 in a Windows 2003 Terminal Server Env

Notes FX was working for me with Notes 6.5.3 on theWindows 2003 Terminal Server with multiple users.

Installed Notes 7.0. Error messages says “Unable to establish Notes/FX. 123 was unable to locate a suitable version of Notes. Notes F/x is disabled.”

123 is version 9.7

I have the notes directory in the OS Path statement.

I have the user’s data directory in the notes ini file that the shortcut points to.

So far most things work except FX. only 2 days of use.

Any help would be appreciated, as always.

Subject: I am amazed! (not an answer to your question)

I didn’t think that there was anyone still using FX let alone with 1-2-3. Just to satisfy my curiosity can you give me an idea of what sort of application you have that is using it and how long it has been deployed for.

Subject: why amazed?

I did not realize it was still supported, but had encountered times where I wanted a spreadsheet cell to update a Notes field.

Is there a replacement for f/x? Does LotusScript allow this sort of access (to a specific cell on an embedded spreadsheet)?
