… no, I know the difference between them … what I’m asking is:
When I double the shortcut to run notes it tries to invoke notes.exe and gives me an error message saying that a dll (not named!!!) could not be located when trying to run notes.exe HOWEVER if I run nlnotes.exe notes appears fine!
What’s going wrong???

Subject: Sounds like you dragged the executable file to your desktop instead of creating a shortcut to it.
Delete the on on your desktop, and drag a new version on with a right mouse click, then select create a shortcut.

We run off of network profiles the shortcut is on the Program Files menu and the exe is definitely in the right place.
Any ideas anyone?
