Notes error when archiving in mail db

Hello

my customer receives the following errror when she does “Archive” => “Archive Now” in her mail db:

Notes error: The Policy and/or Settings Document assigned to you has been edited by an unauthorized person. Please notify your Administrator that you cannot proceed with the client setup.

Unfortunately, I am the administrator and have no clue :wink:

I guess it has something to do with the archive settings policies (Default for Last Modified…) but checking / unchecking, delete / add new brings no solution.

The archive db and archive log db exists, “archive selected documents” works.

Any help is very much appreciated!

Subject: Notes error when archiving in mail db

I have found the solution my self.

The problem was the Policy settings document in the domino directory - not in the mail db! It was signed with an old ID that no longer exists.

After saving with a current ID everything works fine.
