Notes/Domino 6 - Schedule Agent Timeout

The application have an agent which basically reads a text file from Inbound Folder and then creates the documents. Basically importing data from a text file. Text file is big about 3.5MB. Error Message:

ERROR: Agent did not complete within the time limit.

But the same agent when I run it from browser it is executing perfectly OK.

Anybody knows the reason for this. Agent being timed out when it is SCHEDULED but runs OK when invoked from browser address bar.

Time out parameter is set in the server record and controls all server-based agents (not manual agents, that’s why you see the difference). The Agent FAQs on left hand panel under “Forum FAQs”
