If we manually initiate our remote Network Dialup connections, then launch Notes - All if fine.
If we use a Notes Direct Dialup connection document, it does not work. We pulled some logs from our Radius Server and can see that on connections that are manually initiated, we see “User JDoe Authenticated”. If we monitor the Notes initiated connection, we see " * # ? !/JDoe User Note found". We can not find what is appending the data to the front of the user names, Possibly a Domain entry from XP? The preceding data to the user name appears to be garbage, but is consistent with all attempts even when using different user names.
Problem only happens when using XP and Notes 601. Does not happen with 601 and 98/2000 or with XP and Notes 5.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone have any ideas of what we should try to resolve this issue? We are holding up our R6 migration plans until we can resolve this issue.
