I regret to say that I am relaying this issue second hand, and not from my own experience.
We’ve got a small group of users that have been building a set of documentation with a Domino database. They’ve been progressing quite nicely, but have come up with a somewhat odd problem.
Specifically, the issue has to do with document formatting (margins, etc.). I had shown them how the defaults set in Windows would take precedence over any Windows app. However, the issue is more related to specific Notes/Domino document formatting. Over and above that of the Windows settings, a user can format a document with specific margins and other formatting. However, they’ve shown me where this formatting is not stored in any way. They want to be able to save the Notes/Domino format settings (that they are changing manually each time they want to print).
The hope is that there is a way to save this info (as a default), but not having to code it into the database.
