Hi,
I’m looking for different possibilities to integrate some web-ready Notes-DBs into WPS as portlets.
The DBs use Framesets (so that the user can choose different views) and agents that are started by actions.
The following I tried:
- Notes View.
The Notes View shows online one view of the DB as portlet and has only rudimental document-features like Create, Delete, Edit and Show. As far as I know the agents and actions aren’t supported and thats a problem because we need this functions.
- WebSphere Portal Factory (WPF)
I tried this tool but it isn’t as good as I thought in case of our problem. The basic builders implement basic features similar to the Notes View. “Programming” with WPF is also really complicated in my opinion.
It also doesn’t support the feature of the DBs to show a navigation-menu where you can select between different views.
- I-Frame
That isn’t a solution because the databases should really be implemented in the WebSphere Portal.
Do you know alternative possibilities to really implement the Notes-DBs with almost the integrated features (agents and actions)?
