(Sorry for my english, not my first langage…)
Network admins have recently configured a new proxy, which uses NTLM authentification. (ISA 2006 sp1)
It’s working fine except for emails with inline web images in Lotus. We get the red ‘X’.
If I configure the old proxy(not shut down yet) in the proxy config in the location settings of the Notes client, I get the pictures without a problem after authentification (old proxy had Basic authentification)
If I set the new Proxy, the loggin window loops and we stay with red X’s.
It seems clear from our experientation + stuff we read over the net that it was because Lotus 7.0.2 doesn’t like NTLM. So I’ve installed 8.5.2 on my computer, and took care to get sure my local names.nsf and perweb.nsf were in 8.5.2 format.
But it still doesn’t work. Do I have to set something, somewhere to use NTLM authentification ? I’Ve triied but couldn’t find anything…
Or do I need to migrate the Domnino servers too ?
Or… are IBM “lying” when they say 8.5.2 is compatible with NTLM ?.. :-S
