Hi All,

How u doing ? I have a problem on notes client authentication.

I have developed one application and created 3 users on different ACL. Now i login in notes client as different users, my application is asking username and password like as accessing from Internet Explorer. my problem when login into notes client i am providing the authentication details. How these authentication details will be used for my application when access the application from the notes browser.

Subject: notes client session

It’s hard to work out exactly what the problem is. You mention “Notes browser” at the end: are you accessing a Web application through the Notes browser? If so, your Notes client authentication will not be passed through to the browser.

If your users are using the Notes client, they should simply open the database, rather than browsing to it.
