For some reason, when I leave the Notes client idle for several minutes and then go try to access the server, it doesn’t connect to the server right away. Sometimes it can take a minute before the Connecting, Connected messages even show up. It’s like the client is in limbo and doesn’t know how to connect to the server. I’ve seen this problem with a number of Notes client versions in 6 and now 7. I normally work around it with Ctrl Break, to stop the connection attempt and then retry the connection, which then works immediately, but I shouldn’t have to do a Ctrl Break. It should just reconnect. I’m using 7.01 now and was just wondering if it’s me or some bug that has carried over from 6, possibly even 5 (I can’t remember that far back)

It’s not just you, I see it quite often, too.
Additionally, when I do a ‘sh us’ at the console, I usually see multiple occurances of one or more users with no database(s) listed, which makes me think that there is an ‘orphan’ connection thread out there.
