Notes client license question

What is the difference (from both licensing as well as functionality point of view) between 1. Lotus Notes

Lotus Notes Mail
Lotus Notes Desktop

which can be assigned in person doc.

I looked at this and unless I am missing something, could not find the differentiation between Lotus Notes, Lotus Notes Mail, and Lotus Notes Desktop. Please help!
