Notes client authentication without ID

Hi,is possible to login to Notes Client 8.0 without domino ID file using only name-password authentication?

Subject: it’s fine, but not eliminate ID file…

thanks for reply, I think NSL it’s some improvement for Notes, but Notes shared login allows you only to start Lotus Notes and use your User ID without having to provide a Notes password. I think ID file is still need stored localy.

If you are using the Notes client you need an ID file stored somewhere accessible (which could be a network drive)
