Notes client and overall system hesitations after IE7 upgrade

I’ve been researching an issue at our enterprise that occurred after installing IE 7. We have several users who now experience a hesitation when trying to open their Lotus Notes inbox after receiving their new message pop-up. Their Notes client screen fails to fully draw, then hangs for a few seconds before finally opening. They also now experience hangs when doing ordinary tasks such as right mouse clicking a desktop icon…

My initial research lead me to suspect the IE phishing filter; I applied the MS patch on a test machine with no avail. I’ve found nothing related to this issue elsewhere on the net, however I can tell you that uninstalling IE 7 corrects the issue.

Any ideas?

Id refrain from installing IE7 for sometime until they work out all the Bugs. Nothing that comes out from Microsoft is worth putting on your machines for at least a few months after it’s released.

As for actual experience with this problem, I don’t have it and I apologize I can’t help.
