Notes Client 7.02 doesn't start on MS TS2003

Hi,

I’ve got a problem with a Notes Client 7.02 installation on MS Terminal Server 2003 SP1:

  • Client successfully installed

  • Server reboot

  • Client start problem: Shows splash-screen, like normal, but after a while the screen disappears, Client-services shut down and everything is like I never started the Notes Client.

Is there anyone witch uses Client 7.0.2 on MS Terminalserver 2003 SP1?

Windows 2003 is not a supported platform! During the installation of the notes client the notes.ini file is placed at the wrong place, it is located in the windows directory! Create a correct notes.ini file and place this one in the notes client program directory. Change the environment variable ‘Path’ and add the directory of the notes client like c:\lotus\notes or change the shortcut and add the entry =c:\lotus\notes\notes.ini in the target of the shortcut (e.g. C:\notes7\nlnotes.exe “=D:\notes7\data\notes.ini”).
