We have a user who occasionally has a problem when manually archiving using 8.0.2 with the R8 mail template.The user selects the documents to be archived and then chooses to archive selected documents. Once the archiving is complete there will be a small discrepancy between the number of documents copied and those deleted with the deleted number higher.
Any suggestions what may be the cause of this - counting deletion stubs shows the number reported as being deleted

I suggest you to check if the user is the owner of the mail file. Also check if the user have Admin access on the archive database (and it’s mail). If not so do it and check.
You can configure the archive log (settings). and after that you can see the full info on each archived doc (fail/success).
