I am trying to get the value of field “edition” from th eclient referenced in the of a table and don’t know how to do it.
Can someone shed some light? I’ve searched the forums but I guess I don’t know exactly what to search for.

The notes fields are in one form and the html form is yet another form. I would like to combine the two so that the notes 'client" form is where the user inputs information and the html form is what displays it all.

First, by Notes and HTML forms, do you mean that you have one form set to display as html (in the form properties) on the web and another, standard form used in the Notes Client?
It is possible to use a non-HTML form and use passthru HTML on that form. You could do this, and use computed subforms based on the client type to determine if the user sees the html or the Notes subform. What is your goal? Why is it desirable to use a single form instead of a form for web and a form for client access?
