I’m having a lot of trouble getting the server settings for my iCloud email, etc. account to work in notes 9, which I’m trying out as an email, newsgroup, calendar client, without a domino server.
Gmail imap server I had no problems with so far - unfortunately I don’t use that address very much. I’ve tried the apple recommended settings, plus just about every other option I can think of but it’s not having it for me.
I know it might seem a bit weird wanting to get this to work as simply a home user myself, but I quite like the way that notes is a bit different to all the email clients out there, plus I thought it’d be fun to use it with newsgroups and also to sync with my calendars on other devices.
Could someone tell me if it should be compatable with the iCloud server? I’m only using a trial right now, if notes isn’t really going to work for someone like me I’ll see if I can find something else.
