Wasn’t sure if this is should be filed under Sametime or Notes Client, but Sametime integration from the Notes Client is what appears broken.
When I first launch Notes Client I can use the sidebar and search for a user in the directory and it gives me the helpful suggestions with whether or not people are available. If I launch a chat from there and use the search field at the top of the window and I click in the search field it clears the hint text in there and lets me search and things operate normally. Shortcut keys and focus all works normally.
Once I launch Mail (only Mail, not Calendar or the archive or anything) both the integrated Sametime sidebar and the opened Sametime chat window starts behaving really bizarrely. If you click in the search field the hint text doesn’t go away. If you delete it all and start typing no suggestions pop up, but if you type a name you know will show up and hit enter it will open a new chat with them (sometimes you have to hit twice, I think to hit the “Search the directory” item and then select their name in this magically hidden list). The blinking cursor also doesn’t show up in the message text input area, but if you start typing letters will show up there and hitting the enter key sends the message. Shortcut keys don’t work though (Cmd+v to paste, for example). No matter what I’m doing, if I close just the Mail tab everything starts working properly again.
