Notes 8 Standard Question: Why is Notes 8 Standard on a stick (USB drive) not supported?
Subject: Notes 8 Standard on USB Drive
Due to the challenges of the new Eclipse platform, installation of Lotus Notes 8 from a USB device drive is not currently supported in Notes 8 (Standard Configuration). This feature is being considered for future Notes 8 releases.
This feature is available for Lotus Notes 8 (Basic Configuration).
Please note: Notes 8 (Basic Configuration) does not contain many of the new features available in Notes 8 (Standard Configuration).
