Is there one of these - Notes 8.5 Linux AMD64 bit client - or even a way to make an existing client work in Ubuntu 9.04

I desperately need to get this working and am willing to help as needed.

Neither 64 bit or Ubuntu 9.0.4 are supported by the Notes client at this time.

We’d be interested in more specifics on what you’re seeing as issues.

Subject: challenges with web based Notes

  1. inability to use “Archive” - works in Windows only (at least it’s gray’d out for me)

  2. inability to delete attachments, even in edit mode - tried the trick of going to edit mode, highlighting the attachment and hitting ‘del’ - this deleted the message itself

these two things make it very difficult to manage my mail folder size

Subject: Use 8.5 deb package

Use the debian package and install with:

dpkg -i --force-architecture ibm-lotus-notes.deb
