Notes 8.5 Beta 2 Install on Mac Fails

Every time I run the install program for Notes 8.5 for Mac I get a message saying, “Please insert “homedirectoryname” disc to continue installation. You have chosen to install software that requires this disc.”

This is the name of my home directory and I can’t insert it as a disk. It does not give an option to cancel or go back so I have to kill the install program. Any one have an idea of what’s going on and how to get around it?

Subject: Hardware

What machine are running the app on ? I’m having problems on a MacBook Pro 2.6Ghz with 10.5.5, however on a MacBook ( black version ) with 10.5.4 it runs just fine, could it be a hardware issue ?

Subject: Thanks very much for reporting this issue! This is a known issue.

Thanks a lot for your report! This is a known issue tracked by SPR#GCSF794MFJ and it is caused by “FileVault” is turned on your Mac.There are 2 workarounds for this issue:1,you can turn off “FileVault” if possible.2.If not,you can force quit Notes installer when error message pops-up,Mac Notes has installed completely at that time. Thanks!
