All,
I’m trying to install Lotus Notes 8.5.2 (trial version) on Win 7 Ultimate.
Running install as user or Administrator I get:
"The wizard was interrupted before Lotus Notes 6.5.2 could be
completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete
the installation at another time, please run setup again"
No virus scanner was running.
Any hints on how to remedy this would be highly appreciated.

Figured it out.Had a stale 8.5.1 installation (that had crashed during the install) lurking around. Would not let me uninstall it. Had to step down into the sewer pit (Win registry) and manually remove all traces of notes.
8.5.2 now installs fine.

Do you remeber witch parameter you removed from the registery??
Because I have the same problem, and I tried to remove everything looking like lotus or Notes, but it still doesn´t works.
