We are running Notes Clients via Citrix, which is basically working.Citrix has introduces the feature ‘File Type Association’. The goal is to optimize tasks if files are opened.
This causes if you ie. click in Notes a Web Link (http://wwww.ibm.com) Internet Explorer is started and opens the link. This is working fine the first times. But under Citrix the IE task does not disappear in the task list even you close the Internet Explorer.
If you click several times on a Web Link and you have already a lot of open IE tasks it will not open a new one. There is already a SPR for this problem: #RREN8YJHFC
Actually there is no plan to solve the problem.
I’m just wondering because I think there should be other customers be effected by this problem. I’d like to get feedback if somebody else experienced the same behavior.
