Notes 8.5.1 in Citrix - OS Tweaks

I am trying to get Notes 8.5.1 Standard to work in Citrix. I have not been able to get any 8.x version to work successfully unless I run the client in basic mode.

I am currently trying to setup Windows & Notes as described int he 8.0.2 on XA 4.5 Scalability analysis. With the expection to all the OS tweaks, we have been running Notes 4, 6 and 7 in a very similar setup, so I hope the OS tweaks is what I have been lacking for version 8. (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/documentation/notes/d-ls-notesxenapp/)

On Page 30 of that document, there are several lists of OS, File system and network tweaks that are listed. BUT… it doesn’t mention where these are set, or what they were set to. Has one else documented these values? If so, where?

I’m currently going line by line and researching each item to see what is out there. Hoping someone might be able to save me (and probably several others) many hours of time.

Regards

Matt

Subject: Standard install is now working - still looking for OS tweak info.

I have successfully gotten the 8.5 standard client to work. I changed the xcopy command in the logon script from xcopy /s to xcopy /e. Seems there are some empty directories that needed copied.

I am still looking for detailed information on the OS tweaks if anybody has them.

Your welcome, I will be adding these to our 8.5.1 Whitepaper too which we will be publishing in the coming weeks.

Subject: Great news!

Gary, a upcoming whitepaper on Notes 8.5.1? - That sounds like a dream… Hopefully the paper will address the current problem of Notes 8.5.1 with WinSrv 2008x64/XenApp 5 as a seamless windows app.

Are you aware of issues in this environment?
