Hi all!.I just upgrade my Notes 8.0.1 to 8.0.2. With Notes 8.0.1 i can replicate databases from my server R 5.0.12 to my Noets client. When i upgraded to 8.0.2 i can’t replicate any database even manually or via background replicator. Downgraded to 8.0.1 the replication work’s fine. I have more two servers with release 7.0.2 and 8.0.1 and using Notes 8.0.2 with these servers it’s ok, but not with my R 5.0.12.
What is the problem?

I stumbled upon your post looking for a solution to my problem:
Server A is on Domino 5.0.11
Server B is on Domino 8.0.2 (was 8.0.1)
Server C is on Domino 7.0.2
After upgrading B to 8.0.2 it cannot replicate with A. It throws me the following error in the console:
Unable to replicate names.nsf: This function is not implemented on this version of the server
A can replicate with C and vise versa
B can replicate with C and vise versa
IBM support was of no help stating that v5 is no longer supported.
So sorry, no solution to your problem, just thought I’d post my findings for you (I think IBM changed something fundamental in the replication in 8.0.2).
Please post here if you find anything useful on this issue. I’ll go ahead and make a new post about my problem.

You may want to download and install a test R6.5x server, put your database on it, upgrade it’s ODS and design (if necessary) and then try to replicate. R8x was probably not tested with old R5 code since it is no longer supported or created here at IBM/Lotus.
