Notes 8.0.2 keeps freezing

I have 2 issues with Notes 8.0.2 that I’m hoping someone can help with

1.) It keeps freezing up. I use Preview Pane in Vertical mode (on the right side of Inbox). On the right of the preview pane is my Day at a glance box, Feeds, Sametime, etc.

Everything works fine for a while (sometimes for an hour, sometimes for a few days) and then all of a sudden, when I click on a new email, nothing happens. Preview Pane keeps showing previous email. Then I’ll click another folder like “All Documents”, and still nothing. It’s pretty much frozen.

I have to close Lotus Notes, re-open, and then everything is back to normal.

Very frustrating.

2.) Unread Marks and unread folder count does not dynamically update (I usee the setting that tells Notes to mark an email as read if viewed in Preview Pane).

If I manually refresh (F9 key) folder’s unread count refreshes, and email’s previewed in preview pane are marked read.

Any help on one or both of these would be appreciated.

we have exactly the same first problem on some laptops.very frustrating problem !

Subject: Do you have enough RAM?

You need at least 1GB of RAM in your client, if you have less than that, try using basic mode and not standard notes client.

So far, I didn’t have such problem.
