I have spent a lot of time on the IBM Notes sites and they all say that if the current install resides that the install will do an upgrade to what is currently shown in the HKLM\Software\Lotus\Notes (Version type). If this is the case then when the install “looks” for the Program Path and the Data Path it should update without issues. This is what is currently installed on all workstations (M:\Notes5\Data) or (M:\Notes65\Data depending on the workstation) That is not the case, the MSI errors on the network install of the data location with an MSI error of 1327 Invaild drive location. Does any one else get this error when you create an the MST? I am at a loss here. I thought that it may be the rights on the data share but rights are applied with Modify (this folder,subfolder and files) so I know that it has the correct permission to install to that location. Any help would be great.
