In some databases, also in the standard names.nsf on the server, I’ve the following problem. The launch options of the databases shows “open designated frameset” Name: “MainFrameset”. The option “Restore as last viewed by user” is disabled. In the “MainFrameset” should be the view “People” be launched. But on some PC’s will be the view “Groups” launched.What’s wrong?

I usually remove the icons from the workspace and the bookmark bar - close Notes and try again

Hey, it happens from time to time. Go to the Workspace (the “real” workspace, not the bookmark version) on the affected PCs and delete the database icon for the database that isn’t launching correctly. You may have to clear the cache.dsk as well. When you next open the database (using File>Database>Open), it will launch with the default settings. The icon “contains” a lot of user information about the database. If one or more users is seeing something different from the rest of the users, it’s almost always something gone wrong with the local database usage record, which gets deleted when the workspace icon is deleted.
