Notes 6.01 toolbar problem

Hello,

my boss edited the Universal toolbar, deleted some items and added Attach and some Text properties etc. Everything seemed to work until he tried to open a new email or forward some other email.

The icon did not seem to work and was greyed out until he edited the toolbar again. Then everything seemed to work - until another mail create/forward.

The real problem is that I cannot reproduce the bug on my system.

Is there any good working solution to this bug?

Has anyone encountered the same bahavior?

Hi Josef

Not sure if this will fix your problem but i find it fixs alot of problem i have with toolbars in Notes

  1. Find the notes.ini in C:\Program Files\lotus\notes or where every you have your lotus notes folder .

  2. Copy it

  3. Edit notes.ini with notepad

    Remove every thing after the $$ line and save .

  4. Log back into notes .

You will be asked to setup as if it was the first time . Just find your id and so on .

I have the same problem.It appears everytime I have forwarded or replied a memo. If I exit notes and enter again, it works fine until I forward or reply. If I use the keyboard shortcuts it works fine.

The problem is located to the “delete”, “categorize” and “Expand/collaps” buttons. I haven’t found any solution either… yet.
