I have also re-certify the bad id. When I connect the server, show display the error -“The signatur of the certificate was found to be invalid. Do you want to access the server anyway ?” Click “yes” , does not matter.
I found the new feature of domino7: ID encypt 128 bit is it effect the connection.
IBM Domino Technial is not professional and disappointed. I asking many question and long times ago is not feed back. I try to upgrade for R5 to R7 is fixed a problem. If you try to fresh install R7 is show the signature of certificate … error. I give you a updated solution for IBM Technical.
I had something similar to this when I migrated one of my servers to ND7. My problem was due to a difference in the way that ND checks the dates on a certificate. We had a server that had its date go hay-wire and got set to several years into the future, and during this time we creaed a number of certificates. They had creation dates in the furture. When an ND5 or 6 server checked the certificate it must only look at the expiry date, ND7 looks at both the Creation date and the expiry date, and rejected the certificate. The only way that we could fix this was to re-certify the bad IDs, one of which was a server (much bigger job).
