Hi,
I’ve noticed that when I open view with shared actions on server it always show message in status bar (“Note item not found”), why do I get such message?
This message disappear when I re-save (in designer) view. so this is definitely linked to shared actions in the view.
any suggestion?
Subject: One Reason for “note item not found”
I am using Notes 8.5.2 and I have found under shared action two design parent entries “Shared Actions”, one with design version 8.5.2 and all the actions below, and one with version 6.5 without any actions.I’ve deleted the 6.5 entry, and then it works.
Before it, I’ve got in Notes Client application in the info line the message “Note item not found” (in german: “Element des Dokuments nicht gefunden”),
in the browser application appeared a hard error interrupt with the message “HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - Note item not found”.
There is no need to delete all the shared actions and create them again!
Subject: Could be multiple reasons
Are there other things you are doing in the view, such as some script in PostOpen? It doesn’t look like shared action since if it didn’t find it, you would have not been able to see the action nor execute it. But since it’s working, it must be something other than shared action.
Without having a db, it would be difficult to say what, but looks like the view has some invalid data which is getting fixed when you re-save it.
If it’s possible to email me the db, I can try to see what might be happening.
