Not Resource Reservation not working

Hi,

A create a new site profile, resource called “Meeting Room”.

But the resource reservation is working because it permits that two person can schedule two different meeting with the sime time. What Can I do, to set the system to alarm if the two meetings is schedulled in the same time?

Hi,

I had Lotus Domino 7.0.1 before. When the users’s made a resource reservation for example: room and if there is any conflicting date/time for that reservation the user receives a message in the notes client saying that is not possible to make reservation because it is already reserved.

How, We are using Lotud Domino 8.5, I created the new resource reservation called room. When the user make a reservation for room, the user receives an email saying Accepted Reservation. If it is already reservation for that room in that date/time the user receives an email saying Declined Reservation.

Question, is this OK from Domino 8.5 or there is any setting I can make to send a message in user notes client if it is date/time conflicting?

The behavior has not changed between 7.x and 8.x / 8.5x. If a room is available then the user gets back the “Accepted” notice. If the room is already reserved then the user gets back a “Declined” notice.

The first paragraph describes the expected behavior So I do not fully understand your question. The system will send a “Declined” notice automatically if the room is not available. You do not need to do anything to send a “Declined” notice to the user.
