I have a sporadic issue with Sametime 8 that is built into the Notes 8.0.1 client. Sometimes people will try to chat with me and the chats never appear. When this happens I also can’t initiate any chats. The chat windows won’t open. If I logout of the integrated Sametime client and then back in all of the missed chats will display and also the chats I tried to initiate will pop up. Has anyone else seen this?

As you stated, the only solution seems to be to log out and back into Sametime.
