Not Displaying Field value on web

Hi,

I am using $$viewtemplate form for a view. In that form we have the functionality that…

  • We have the country field (htmal select field) and GO button.

  • User will selects the country and press GO button , then the respective country documents will load on the page.

My problem is While user selects the country and press GO button the country name should come as heading.

I tried by putting computed text, text field (computed for diplay). But its not appearing on the page.

Can any one suggest me…

Unless you’re refreshing page, the computed text won’t get value from server. Why not put a

and update it’s content using innerhtml/innertext, on onchange event of country field.

onChange event of Country field:

document.getElementById(‘CountryTitle’).innerHTML = document.forms[0].Country.value

No, even I tried by using editable field. and I assained value to this field in GO button.

Even the field is not visible on web. Its not hidden field.
