Not Authorized to Server

This is tough because I have limited information. Our Administrator is setting up clients at a remote location. He set up the notes IDs a few days ago and is now installing the clients. When trying to access Notes from one of the newly installed clients he is getting a “Not Authorized to Server” message. He is able to get in from his ID, so it’s not a network issue. What could he have set up incorrectly in the ID Registration process that could cause this error?

Any ideas?

Check the field “Access Server” on the Security Tab of the server document. If it’s blank that means that anyone can access the server but if the field has information filled in and the “users listed in all trusted directories” option is NOT checked then only those users/servers listed would have access.

Thank you so much for your response. It was completely a silly error as it turns out. We created everyone’s initial mail file with a middle initial, then decided not to use the middle initial so we changed their user names. But the ACL had to be recreated.
