Not authorised to access the database even though users are in the ACL with author group. Previously were able to access now got this error message “Not authorised to access the database”. thought since the group (multi purpose) which is also user from mailing was full.
i removed the existing group & created 2 groups and spilt names to the 2 groups that were present on the previous and added these groups with author access ,
but still problem presists you suggestions on this issue plz…
Is there a limitation for a database ACL ?even if added from the groups …

the default access to the database : No access
Author + Role: (All group) + Role
Editor + Role : Few members + Role
Manager : Even the Manager cannot create and save the Reservation database. "You are not authorised to create request in the administration database. Seems this is a different issue.
Now just the users reported they are able to access and but few cannot iam still investigating why other users cannot ?

By effective acces,i mean: When you open the ACL, you have a button called in english, I think, “Effective access”. You click on it, you enter the name of your user or group, and it will “calculate” exactly what acces they have in the specific db.
