Not asking for id when starting Notes 6

Dear All,When i start a Notes Client 6 then it doesnt ask for id to log.

Why is it so and how will i do that?

If this was a standalone installation, your id is “Your Name/Your Name” (based on whatever name you typed in during the installation procedure) and your id has a zero-strength password (i.e., no password at all). Notes will just assume it’s you whenever anyone starts your client. To get a “real” id, it needs to be certified by some entity. To simply set a password for login, click on File, Security, User Security and then click on “Change Password” in the resulting dialog. Once the id has a password assigned, it will always prompt for a password at login.

If you selected during install to run NT sync, then Notes will NOT ask for a password if your Notes password and NT password are the same.

There was no such sync which was done during installation. Infact during installation it is not asking for anything.See already Notes was installed i removed and reinstalled it. Now it is not asking. And during installation it didnt ask anything. Plz help me.

File>Security>User Security > Login to Notes using your operating system login

I didnt get what u said. There is no option Login to Notes in Notes and where is that in os login

Maybe your password was set to zero length?
