I have problems using Notes 6 to receive my internet mail. Although there are quite a number of posts are regarding this topic. I still could not get it right. So, I post it again.
I thinks my settings are correct. A location document is in place, account information is also correct. I have two accounts set in address book, one for SMTP, one for POP. However, smtp account is able to send email but pop account is not able to receive email.
I am not using Domino server, just using R6 as a stand alone client, like Outlook.

I am working with stand alone R6 and it gets my mail fine, so there’s probably something wrong with your account documents. When you run replication, does it try the POP3 account? Add POP3ClientDebug=1 to your notes.ini, and examine the log to get a better picture of what’s going on.

One thing I don’t understand is that I did receive email successfully once. Then afterwards, either it says 0 receive or gives me the message of no responding. While I can retrieve the mail via Outlook with no problem.
I also added POP3ClentDebug=1 into the notes.ini. How does it work? I didn’t really see any difference.

Did you ever resolve the issue with not being able to recieve mail after the initial replication. I have the same problem. Seems like there are some new undocumented features in R6.x with the client pulling mail from a POP3 server.
