Not able to change http password of user through web browser

Hi All,I am using iNotes6.ntf mail template.

I am tring to change password of user through web browser, but “change password” button on web browser is

disabled.

Also while switching to “security” tab, it gives warning as “use https”.

“Change password” button is there in security tab.

I tried to enable SSL on my Domino administrator.

Server document settings are modified to enable SSL and restarted the server.

When I run command >tell http show security , on domino console.

It gives output as -

“secure server not started waiting for HTTPS request”.

Can anybody please help me to solve this issue?

Thanks.

You can’t just turn on the ssl- you have to set up a keyring w/ the appropriate encryptions. You don’t have to go to an outside source for that encryption, but you do have to set up Domino to do it- use the admin help- it will work you through setting up SSL- if that doesn’t work-take a look at waresource.com (not my company) for their admin books- they cover it. I’m sure others do as well.

See the Domino Administrator Help entry entitled “Setting up SLL on a Domino server” (under “Security->SSL Security” in the Contents section).
