Does anyone experienced this problem? I know pretty much when this is happening but trying to find out if anyone went across this issue…
Here is the scenario: user gets email where subject line has either blank line below, or there is multiple line in subject line, other words whoever create this email wrote subject line then hit ENTER and leave it blank or type another line below still in subject line…
If this user is trying to forward this message or reply to it will get this message bounced back with following error:
SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 550 Requested action not taken: Nonstandard SMTP line terminator.
Now, if user create new message and type exactly same subject line it works fine… so other words however this message is created in the first place is create this problem.
My believe is that the violating messages that contain bare or characters in the message headers aren’t processed.
Is someone experiencing same issue?
