Since I’ve migrated from 8.02 to 9.01, I can’t open some design element (form, view, pages) on any of my Domino applications, even on system databases like names.nsf… I get a dialog box, something like “non-existent file” (FR language pack → “fichier inexistant”). However, i can open design elements like agents, scripts, etc. As I have maintenance task to do quiclky it’s rather annoying…

Subject: Designer client specific
I’ve never seen that before but I would try to see if this is machine specific or not. If the issue is reproducible on multiple Designer clients, you should open up a PMR with IBM support and provide a sample database so we can investigate. If the issue is specific to one Designer client, a quick fix would be to do a clean install on that machine. If you want to find root cause, then again, open a PMR so we can investigate your client.
Subject: I have seen this too
First close Notes and then delete your workspace folder under notes\data - eclipse is a fickle beast and that sometimes kicks it into behaving itself
If that doesn’t work, check that you have read and write access rights to the location of your notes\data directory
