No Traveler policy settings option

Hi All,

We have recently installed a Domino 8.5.1 server with Traveler. I am trying to set up a Traveler policy, but when I go to ‘People and Groups’, ‘Settings’, ‘Add Settings’ there is no option there for Lotus Traveler.

Can anyone help me out with what I might be missing?

Thanks

Subject: A few questions for you

Is this an additional server in an existing domain? Were the Traveler settings available previously?

What version are the other domain servers?

Please let me know and I can investigate.

Subject: you on the right server?

it won’t show up for non traveller installations…

Subject: That’s not correct

As soon as you have a Traveler server this setting will be available on every server in the same domain with the same adressbook.

We had this problem in the beginning too. In the development environment (with a clean install) everything was fine. But in the production with an already existing adressbook Traveler was missing.

It was a kind of a problem that the adressbook wasn’t updated/replicated correctly. Those additional settings couldn’t be found in the designer as they are documents.

You can view them in ($PoliciesExt) … if they are not there then you won’t get them in the settings.

Subject: Any Solution for this??

I had upgrade a few servers (Traveler server) which having the same problem, the Traveler Policy Settings is not available in the Policy.

There’s a response from the IBM forum mentioned that changing the Template version in NOTES.INI to lower version will address this issue, the names.nsf design will be update after rebooting the server.

Is this a formal way to solve the issue? I’m not dare to do so as i afraid it will mess up other db design. Any idea?
